Al-Shifah Charity Foundation was registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria on January 29, 2025, with Registration Number CAC/IT 8218298 and Tax Identification Number 32751564-0001. Our founding trustees — Muhammad Abubakar Abdullahi (Chairman), Gumel Mustapha Ali (Secretary), and Talba Bukar Talba — are all verified, registered individuals with the Nigerian government. But registration alone is not enough. Here is what makes Al-Shifah different: Full Financial Transparency: Our 2025 Annual Statement of Account is publicly available. Total donations received in 2025: ₦966,060. Total spent on programmes: ₦941,480. Closing balance: ₦25,080. Every naira accounted for. Real Programmes, Real Impact: In 2025 we fed over 70 people per day for 30 days during Ramadan, distributed food hampers to families in need, paid school fees for vulnerable children, and provided minor medical support to patients who could not afford medications. No Administrative Bloat: Our constitution (Article 13) explicitly prohibits any profit distribution to members. Every kobo donated goes to community programmes — period. Independent Auditing: Per Article 11 of our constitution, independent licensed auditors audit our financial records annually and submit reports to the Annual General Meeting. Our 2026 Ramadan programme budget is already planned at ₦1,134,000 — covering two feeding locations, chilled water distribution, food hampers, and direct cash support to 20 beneficiaries.
